For Example. The couple traveled to the small park. (The-Direct Article/Couple & Park-Noun)

Verb: Action Word-"to do something"
(typically ends in -ed/-ing/-s/-es)

For Example: The couple traveled to the small park. (Traveled = Verb)

Adjective: Describing Word (Size/Color/Appearance/Taste etc.)

For Example: The couple traveled to the small park.
(Small = Adjective because describing size)

Adverb: Modifies the Verb/Adjective (Can end in -ly)

For Example: The boy reluctantly handed the baseball to his mother after he broke the vase.
(Reluctantly = Adverb/ the boy "did not want" to give the baseball to his mother)

Preposition: Indicates "location" (hint: you should be able to point-tell the 5ws/how often)

(After indicates when he handed the baseball to his mother)
